The Attic

Located in the historic center of a small town in northeastern Italy, this 95-sqm apartment, housed in a 1980s building, is the result of a complete renovation. The project involved a total overhaul, with the bathrooms, flooring, windows, and other structural elements redone from scratch. The floor plan has been intelligently reconfigured, with a spacious living area acting as a natural divider between the master suite, comprising the master bedroom and its private bathroom, and the entrance area, which features built-in wardrobes, a guest bathroom, and an additional bedroom.

A defining feature of this project is its commitment to craftsmanship, with nearly all the furniture custom-designed specifically for the space. The Attic pays homage to Scandinavian interior design, where honest materials and soft minimalism take center stage. The bespoke furnishings include a solid oak shelving system, a dining table, a coffee table, and a TV cabinet—each featuring interlocking joints.

Additional custom elements include an ecological mortar shower tray and vanity in the main bathroom, a colored concrete bathtub and sink in the secondary bathroom, and a kitchen composed of painted modules, a green marble countertop, a copper backsplash, and a concealed extractor. White-painted wall units complete the design, enhancing the apartment’s clean and cohesive aesthetic.
